In the UK, HCC’s Market Development Department works with retailers and foodservice operators to develop profitable markets for PGI Welsh Lamb and PGI Welsh Beef as well as undertaking regular promotional programmes for PGI Welsh Lamb and PGI Welsh Beef. HCC is also active in many important markets worldwide, developing and strengthening business opportunities for Welsh red meat exporters.
HCC’s Market Development Department’s objective is to position the Welsh red meat brands, specifically the PGI Welsh Lamb and PGI Welsh Beef brands, as premium products within premium market sectors internationally. This positioning is based on PGI, provenance and the associated quality cues.
