• Hands-on senior business development executive and sales management strategist who has spent most of my 25 years career around the industrial sector and has held senior level leadership positions for startup and early stage growth global operations at various business development functions with specialized knowledge of the business culture, climate, regulatory/policy environment and a wealth of valuable network contacts in Egypt, East Africa and the Arab world. Sales & Marketing Manager- Quest/Naarden BV – Egypt January 1986- February 1992
•As Large Account Executive, exceeded revenue goals by maintaining volume, increasing business and renegotiating contracts with Jonson Wax, Johnson &Johnson, Colgate-Palmolive and Unilever and other multinational accounts.
•Played a pivotal role in firms landing P&G account in Soap and detergent industry. Convinced P&G to leave competitor and improved perceptions with P&G account.
•Developed aggressive sales strategies, increasing revenue from $5 million to $25 million over a four year time period and increasing market share by an average of 10% annually over 4 years period.
•I was instrumental in developing new products expanding product line in the household industry.
•Led a cross functional team to evaluate decreasing customer complaints. Identified sources of dissatisfaction and recommended new workflow process that greatly enhanced employee morale and customer retention.
